Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha jiya saw a drop in box office receipts on its third Monday. According to Sacnilk, the movie, which features shahid kapoor and kriti sanon in their first-ever on-screen partnership, made ₹ 90 lakhs on day 18. In contrast, the movie had earned ₹ 2.65 crore on day 17. The film, which was directed by Aradhana Sah and amit Joshi, has made ₹ 74.35 crore at the indian box office thus far. An engineer and an AI-generated robot fall in love with the contemporary love story told in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
 
A few weeks ago, Kriti Sanon—who plays Sifra, the Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation—pleasantly startled the crowd by showing up at a cinema that was showing her film. Kriti released a video of her post-screening interactions with the crowd. Speaking to the hustling assembly, she said, "Is there another picture? [What did you think of the film?]

The resounding reply was "Bahut achi [Absolutely brilliant]." Cheers and appreciative hoots filled the theatre. Taking advantage of the occasion, Kriti asked the crucial question, "Part 2 banana chahiye? [Should we do a Part 2?]," and a resounding "Yes!" was heard.
