During a thorough review meeting of the hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) on Wednesday, telangana chief minister Revanth reddy emphasized efforts to develop the districts surrounding Hussainsagar as tourist destinations. This includes efforts to clear off encroachments for the ease of visitors and the installation of features like food stands, skywalks, kid-friendly play areas, and green spaces that are modeled after Dubai's urban development strategy.
 

He also emphasized how crucial it is to protect the lakes and storage facilities that are under the authority's jurisdiction. To organize development initiatives for their particular districts, officials were asked to coordinate with appropriate district collectors and speed up land pooling operations.
 
Furthermore, the chief minister has directed staff members of the Department of Municipal Administration to create plans for the coordinated development of regions along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) as a single entity.
 
He was in favor of progressively expanding the HMDA's purview to include the projected Regional Ring Road (RRR).


He also emphasised the necessity of building radial highways to link the ORR with the rrr and gave civic facilities in the neighbouring communities first priority.
