The founder of amazon, Jeff Bezos, has surpassed Elon Musk to reclaim the title of richest person in the world. Bezos's net worth as of right now is estimated to be USD 200 billion by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, while Musk's has dropped to USD 198 billion. According to the Index, which was released on Tuesday, the founder of amazon made USD 23 billion in gains over the previous year, while the CEO of tesla lost almost USD 31 billion. Tesla's stock had fallen more than 7% on Monday.
 

Musk, whose net worth is estimated to reach USD 195 billion, overtook Bezos as the richest person in the world in january 2021.
 
In May 2023, two years later, Musk had reclaimed the title of richest person in the world by unseating billionaire Bernard Arnault, the CEO of LVMH, the parent company of luxury brand Louis Vuitton.
 
When the value of Musk's tesla saw a sharp decline in december 2022, Arnault initially passed Musk as the richest person in the world.
 
With a net worth of USD 197 billion, Arnault is now the third richest person in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, behind microsoft co-founder bill gates (USD 150 billion) and Meta CEO mark zuckerberg (USD 179 billion).
 

Chairman of adani Group gautam adani and Chairman of reliance Industries mukesh ambani are ranked 11th and 12th, respectively.
 
Adani had a net worth of USD 104 billion, compared to Ambani's USD 115 billion.
