On Monday, tesla, led by Elon Musk, witnessed a significant decline in its shares, resulting in a notable reshuffling of the world's wealthiest individuals. Consequently, Elon Musk relinquished his title as the richest person globally. In this context, jeff bezos, the amazon founder, reclaimed the top position in Bloomberg's latest billionaires index. This marked a notable shift in the global spotlight.
After 2021, jeff bezos surpassed Musk for the first time, securing the position with a current wealth of $200 billion, equivalent to approximately Rupees. 16.58 lakh crores in indian currency. Elon Musk's wealth stands at $198 billion or roughly Rupees. 16.41 lakh crore in indian currency, placing him in the second position.

The drastic change in rankings stemmed from a sharp 7.16 percent decline in tesla shares on Monday, pushing the stock value down to $188.14. At one point, the wealth gap between Musk and Bezos reached a substantial $142 billion. However, Bezos's fortune has surged, doubling since 2022, aided by Amazon's stock recovery. Bernard Arnault, the head of Louis Vuitton, who held the top position for several years, now stands third in the rankings with a wealth of $197 billion.

The current top 12 in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index include Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Steve Baumer, Warren Buffett, Larry Ellison, Larry Page, Serge Brin, mukesh Ambani, and gautam adani, with their respective wealth levels detailed in the index. This recent shift emphasizes the dynamic nature of global wealth distribution among leading figures in business and technology.
