Tillu Square, the follow-up to siddhu Jonnalagadda's popular film dj Tillu, is about to be released. There was a good reaction when the advance bookings went up two days ago. In hyderabad City, pre-bookings have topped one crore, and the occupancy rate is a respectable 25%. The figures are a little disappointing, though, given the great hopes for the sequel and the fact that it was released on a holiday (Good Friday).
 
Stakes are high with Tillu Square, yet dj Tillu became a smash in 2022 after collecting a share of almost 20 crores. Trade analysts predict that in order for Tillu Square to break even, its revenue has to approach 30 crores. Despite competition from other films like Family Star, there's a good possibility it might accomplish this target given the summer holidays and other impending holidays.

But if it doesn't receive well from the public, movie can have trouble at the box office. Yesterday saw the debut of the movie's trailer along with a lavish pre-release celebration.
