April arrived and brought with it extreme heat, with temperatures much above average for this time of year in hyderabad and several other districts in Telangana. The temperature had risen sharply by monday afternoon, ranging from 42 to 43 degrees Celsius before levelling out at just below 42. The city was sweating under the intense heat.

There has been a noticeable increase in the heat intensity as temperatures in certain areas of hyderabad have surpassed 40 degrees Celsius. Khairatabad recorded 41.7 degrees Celsius, while KPHB registered 41.9. Moula Ali, Monda Market, Vanasthalipuram, Nagole, Chandanagar, Nacharam, and the university of hyderabad were among the places that felt the intense heat.


On monday, the state's districts, in addition to hyderabad, experienced intense heat. The sweltering 43.2 degrees Celsius recorded at nalgonda was quickly followed by 43.1 degrees Celsius at mancherial and 43 degrees Celsius at Siddipet. Over the next three days, Telangana, including hyderabad, is expected to see more temperature increases, according to the india Meteorological Department-Hyderabad (IMD-H). It is anticipated that the heat wave-like conditions would last till april 5 in hyderabad and throughout Telangana.
