Amitabh Bachchan plays ashwatthama in Nag Ashwin's ensemble star cast, kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas. The team shared a sneak peek at his appearance and persona. The trailer features an interview between amitabh bachchan and a curious toddler against the backdrop of a cave where amitabh is praying in front of a shiva Linga while dressed in yellow.

Although some telugu viewers had hoped for a sight of prabhas and Bachchan together, which was not there, feedback from the public suggests that the teaser does a good job of introducing Bachchan's character. Additionally, telugu moviegoers appeared to be less excited because they had already watched a few films in a similar genre. The audience's reaction in the North, on the other hand, is quite positive. They didn't have high hopes for kalki at first because nag ashwin isn't a well-known filmmaker in their eyes. Last year, the initial impression of prabhas had greatly backfired. kalki would be a disaster, it was decided.

But any expectations that nag ashwin won't live up to expectations have been dashed by this trailer for amitabh Bachchan's role. They have also been severely let down by the peek of a younger Bachchan. Since amitabh resembles ravi Teja, the majority of them troll. Since it's widely held that ashwatthama still roams the grounds of Narmada Ghat, the religious component serves as another unique selling point for the hindi audience. Let's hope Amitabh's part in kalki 2898 AD lives up to the anticipation since his character in Sye Raa received a lot of attention but didn't do much for the movie.
