The goal of the BRS party's founding in 2001 was the creation of an independent telangana state. Since then, the party's main motivator has been Telangana's feelings. It was also a driving reason behind the telangana movement. But when the state was established and BRS took office, things were different. Many believed that if BRS formed the administration, it would disregard the pledges made during the "udhyamam" (agitation).

Congress won the assembly elections last year, ending the BRS's ten-year hegemony. Following the electoral setback, BRS leaders' speeches once again featured telangana nationalism and agitation. For the past several days, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the leader of the party, has been traveling the state to campaign for the impending lok sabha elections.

KCR said that the telangana agitation hasn't finished yet (Telangana Udhyamam inka aipoledu) and that the state has to be rebuilt during his public meeting today in the Veenavanka neighbourhood of karimnagar district. On social media, this comment was the target of countless trolls. people on the internet believe that if kcr or his BRS party is in difficulties, "udhyamam" would come to life. They questioned why, throughout its 10 years in power, BRS never discussed agitation.
