After inspecting many eateries in hyderabad, the Food Safety Department's task force team visited a prominent bakery in hyderabad on Wednesday. During the check, the crew discovered expired chocolate.

Yesterday, the crew visited a prominent bakery, Labonel Fine Baking, in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. During the inspection, they discovered that monalisa Dark/White chocolate Crispearls (one package each) had expired. Later, articles totaling Rs 4170 were dumped.

At another outlet, Baskin Robbins, Horn White Chocolates that had expired on march 12 were found stored inside a refrigerator.

Earlier on Wednesday, inspections were also done at Kritunga - The Palegar's Cuisine and KFC (Yum Restaurant india Pvt. Ltd.), both in Somajiguda.

In the uppal area, inspections were conducted at master Chef Restaurant and M/s. Hotel Sai Brundavan Pure Veg.

Previously, checks were undertaken at several restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets in hyderabad, and inconsistencies were discovered. The task force's course of action against them remains to be known.

Task Force team has conducted inspections in uppal area on 20.05.2024.

* Found using synthetic food colours. Discarded on the spot.  
* Expired Vijaya Milk packets (4), Unlabeled ginger Garlic Paste(65kg) and bakery items were discarded.

* Analysis report for water (Cooking/Drinking) not available.
* Refrigerator in very unhygienic condition with improperly stored semi-prepared food
*  Food handlers without haircaps, gloves, aprons and medical fitness certificates.
*  Few other hygiene related issues
