The highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster hit "Pushpa: The Rise," named "Pushpa 2: The Rule," has made news for its ambitious production schedule.  Director Sukumar, noted for his rigorous attention to detail, had originally planned to shoot parts of the film in malaysia and Japan. However, due to time and economic restrictions, the crew has opted to reproduce these overseas locations within India.

The production crew had set an ambitious deadline of august 15th to complete filming. With significant rehearsals previously completed in Bangkok, malaysia, and Japan, it became clear that filming abroad would not be possible within the timeline specified. The crew also intended to make particular adjustments to the places to match the vintage era (late 1990s and early 2000s) represented in the film.

To solve these problems, sukumar and his crew chose to build extensive sets in Hyderabad, notably at Ramoji Film City. The art director has been entrusted with evoking the spirit of malaysia and Japan, with an emphasis on achieving the required vintage look. While some sequences will be recorded on these sets, the majority will be altered and expanded using computer graphics (CGI).

Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to be released in theatres throughout the world on august 15, 2024. The film was produced by mythri movie makers and stars Allu Arjun, rashmika mandanna, and Fahadh Fasil.
