With less than a week till telangana Formation Day, chief secretary Santhi Kumari visited Parade Ground on monday to review the preparations for june 2.
 
She inquired about stage layouts, barricading, energy, water supply, microphone system, and LED screens, and made suggestions for improvements. She instructed police personnel to ensure that commuters are not inconvenienced by excessive traffic.
 
As part of the preparations, a large-scale funfair including all of the state's art forms would be held on Tank Bund from 7 to 9 p.m. Approximately 5,000 soldiers who are planned to participate are now receiving training.

Tank Bund will host cultural acts such as fireworks and a laser show. Tank Bund will have over 80 vendors, including food, handicrafts, handlooms, and self-help groups. A leisure centre featuring various sports will be put up for the kids.
 
CM Revanth reddy will pay tribute to telangana State's martyrs at the Martyrs Stupa at Gun Park. Later, he will take part in a programme at the secunderabad Parade Grounds and reveal the state song. Cultural performances, including a fireworks display and laser show, will be held on Tank Bund. Around 80 stalls, including food stalls, handicrafts, handlooms by self-help groups, will also be set up
