At a time when the whole telugu community is commemorating the 101st birth anniversary of famed actor, telugu desam party founder-president, and former andhra pradesh chief minister N T Rama Rao, his son-in-law, N Chandrababu Naidu, who hijacked the former's job and status, is absent.

Naidu, his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari, son Nara lokesh, and other family members left for abroad less than a week after the state's assembly and lok sabha elections ended on May 13. Even though his party officials said Naidu had traveled to the united states for a health check-up, he has yet to provide any details. Nobody knows where he went in the united states or what he did there.

Of course, he had made a few remarks to the media and sent letters to the election commission about post-election violence as well as the interviews to choose conferred IAS officials. However, the party disseminated the letters without specifying whence they originated.

On Tuesday, Naidu and lokesh also posted messages on social media to pay tribute to ntr on his 101st birthday, while the rest of the family, including NTR's daughter and state bjp president Daggubati Purandeshwari and son Nandamuri Balakrishna, paid floral tributes at ntr Ghat near Necklace Road in Hyderabad.

There were also festivities in the tdp state headquarters in Mangalagiri, albeit just a few people came, including devineni Uma, K Parthasarathy, and others. The customary hungama of the party workers at the ceremony was absent.

The tdp has already postponed its two-day Mahanadu, which was scheduled for May 27 and 28, citing electoral code concerns. The yearly conclave might be convened in June, assuming the tdp wins power and Naidu becomes Chief Minister!
