On Wednesday, andhra pradesh Chief Secretary K S jawahar reddy began the process of filing a defamation complaint against Jana Sena party corporator Peethala Murthy Yadav for allegedly leveling land-grabbing allegations against him.

Jawahar reddy met with legal experts to discuss how to pursue legal action against the Jana Sena leader, who has frequently accused the Chief Secretary and his son of seizing 2,000 acres of allotted property in and around Visakhapatnam.

Legal experts advised him to bring a defamation suit against Murthy Yadav, as many VIPs have done in the past when accused of corruption and land grabs.

In reality, the chief minister tried to clarify Murthy's charges in a public release, explaining why he traveled to Visakhapatnam on May 19 and 20.

He denied the land-grabbing claims and stated unequivocally that he and his family members had nothing to do with the problem of allotted properties.

The Chief Secretary asked Murthy to remove his comments and issue a public apology for leveling unsubstantiated accusations against him.

However, Murthy reaffirmed his charges on Sunday, prompting the Chief Secretary's office to issue a release announcing that a legal notice will be served on the GVMC's JSP corporator immediately, followed by legal action.

Meanwhile, Palla Srinivasa Rao, a tdp leader from Visakhapatnam, made similar claims against jawahar reddy, claiming that his family members had encroached on land near Bhogapuram international Airport.

He said that people who signed deals with brokers received free hold documents, and that registration was completed within 10 days of the government's directive.

"The nda will order an inquiry into these illegal land purchases soon after coming to power in the state," Rao stated.
