Locals saw the man and called the KU police right away. Officers showed up on the spot. But as they dragged him out of the water, they were shocked to see that the man, who had been thought to be dead, had come to.

The person was recognised as a labourer from Kavali in the region of Nellore. He added, "I have been working from 7 am to 7 pm in a granite quarry," after he regained consciousness. Even though they are paying me, they are abusing my labour. How can someone tolerate a temperature this high for so long? He was so tired from his schedule that he went to the cold water to relax.
