Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, poked fun at apple on X on tuesday by sharing an indian joke. The tech entrepreneur emphasised how ChatGPT from OpenAI is being integrated by apple into a number of its functions and how this may result in a data breach. It says "How intelligence works" on the meme. A guy and a lady are shown in the picture enjoying coconut water. The preceding paper explores the possibility of privacy concerns arising from apple sharing data with OpenAI.

Earlier, Elon Musk expressed his concerns with this deal and even threated Tim Cook over it. In a post, he wrote, “If apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, then apple devices will be banned at my companies. That is an unacceptable security violation.” In another post, Musk said, “It’s patently absurd that apple isn’t smart enough to make their own AI, yet is somehow capable of ensuring that OpenAI will protect your security & privacy! apple has no clue what’s actually going on once they hand your data over to OpenAI. They’re selling you down the river.”

Earlier in the day, apple revealed a number of AI capabilities that would be available in its operating systems and apps, as well as a collaboration with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into its hardware.

Apple claimed to have designed AI with privacy "at the core" and to enable those capabilities with a mix of cloud computing and on-device processing.
