On june 5th, Mani Ratnam's highly awaited film Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan, will be released in theaters worldwide. The Thug Life team has begun promoting the film even though it is still over 40 days away from release. trisha was asked about her favorite cuisine by the show's anchor during a recent press conference that the Thug Life team attended. trisha replied, "I enjoy a variety of meals, including boiling bananas. Although I'm not entirely sure what it's called, I enjoy eating cooked bananas, or pazham pori.

Kamal Haasan interrupted Trisha's remark by saying, "She knows how to swallow the banana, but she didn't know the name."  Now, this has gone viral.  Following this, various social media users expressed their disapproval of Kamal Haasan's frequent disparaging remarks against Trisha. 

They believe that while the public finds his remarks funny and entertaining, they appear cheesy and repulsive, and respect for co-stars should never be sacrificed for applause or lighthearted laughter.  However, some people are defending Kamal Haasan's response, saying that he was only making fun of her by indicating that she is aware of her food preferences and understands what she eats.  Although this is merely a casual response, some individuals with distorted perspectives are making it a major problem on social media.
