Foreign liquor worth lakhs of rupees has been recovered from a secret cellar built on the roof of an ambulance caught in an action by the Excise Department of Muzaffarpur. The department team has also arrested the ambulance driver during the action.
The Excise Department team caught
Actually the whole matter is of Sadadatpur of Kanti police station area of muzaffarpur district, from where the Excise Department team, taking action on the basis of secret information, has seized a consignment of foreign liquor worth lakhs of rupees from an ambulance. Along with this, the team has also arrested the driver of the ambulance.
While giving information about this case, Excise Inspector deepak Kumar said that on the basis of secret information, a raid was conducted in Sadatpur of Kanti police station area and a consignment of foreign liquor was seized from a secret cellar built on the roof of an ambulance. The ambulance driver has also been arrested from this spot. He said that during interrogation, the arrested ambulance driver told that he had reached muzaffarpur with a consignment of foreign liquor from siliguri in West bengal and had to deliver this consignment late at night.
What did the ambulance driver say?
The ambulance driver told that he has brought a consignment of foreign liquor from siliguri earlier also. The arrested ambulance driver has also told the names of two big liquor traders to the excise department, for whose arrest the excise department team is conducting raids.
