The possibility of experiencing extreme heatwave conditions in May this year has diminished. According to the hyderabad Met Department's forecast on sunday night, thunder, lightning, and strong winds are expected to affect nearly the whole state of telangana until May 12.

In actuality, most districts will see maximum temperatures in the range of 36 to 40 degrees Celsius throughout the first part of May.  The average May, when summer peaks and the temperature often ranges between 42 and 45 degrees Celsius, is a far cry from this.

According to the IMD-Hyderabad forecast, thunderstorms, lightning, hailstorms, and gusty winds are expected to occur in all parts of telangana, depending on their intensity.  areas under an orange alert will experience hailstorms and wind speeds of 40 to 50 kmph, while areas under a yellow alert will experience wind speeds of 30 to 40 kmph.

Orange and yellow advisories for severe and moderate thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds, and hailstorms have been issued by the MET department for all districts through May 7.  Wanaparthy, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Narayanpet, Nagarkurnool, Medak, Mancherial, Mahabubnagar, KumaramBheem Asifabad, Kamareddy, Jogulamba Gadwal, and adilabad are among the twelve districts where the highest temperatures will be between 41 and 44 degrees Celsius until Monday.  Maximum temperatures in every district will range from 36 to 40 degrees Celsius starting on tuesday and continuing through the upcoming weekend (Friday).
