Fans of pawan kalyan have been anticipating a significant update on OG, and the producers have finally provided it.  OG will officially open in theaters on september 25th, according to DVV Entertainment.
 
It's interesting to note that other projects, such as Sambarala Yeti Gattu and akhanda 2, had originally targeted this date, but they are unlikely to be ready in time due to production delays. Now that those competitors have been eliminated, OG has secured a solitary run. According to reports, the choice was made after consulting with other producers to prevent conflicts.

The timing couldn't be better in terms of the box office.  In anticipation of a record-breaking debut, OG has a number of vacations scheduled for late september and early October.  The movie might make a lot of money even with mediocre word-of-mouth.
 
Pawan has been involved in shootings despite balancing political obligations.  He just finished filming hari Hara Veera Mallu, and he will shortly start working on Ustaad Bhagat Singh.  Sujeeth, the director, is working feverishly to finish OG on schedule.  

Following the conclusion of hari Hara Veera Mallu's theatrical run, OG promotions will ramp up.  Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the female lead in the gangster drama, while emraan hashmi plays the antagonist. Although nothing has been formally confirmed as of yet, there are also significant whispers that OG may be a two-part movie.  Expectations are really high, especially because Thaman is writing the soundtrack.
