Now, the country's government has banned it. It has also been reported that access to websites related to foreign countries has been banned.

Officials banned from using smartphones: According to reports, only government-owned and operated websites in iran can currently be accessed by the country's people, and Iranian government officials and guards have been banned from using mobile phones, smartwatches, and laptops. The Iranian government has stated that it has taken such a step because israel is waging a cyber war against them.
