Terrorism has always been a tool employed by pakistan against India. The attack in pahalgam was the most recent one. India's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, delivered a harsh speech at the UN condemning Pakistan.

According to him, pakistan continues to back terrorism and those who do it.  He reminded everyone that the world has not forgotten the horror of the pahalgam incident, which was carried out by Pakistani terrorists and claimed the lives of 26 innocent people.

"The world has not forgotten the savage targeted attacks by Pakistani and Pakistani-trained terrorists," the Ambassador said, citing the Security Council's press release from april 25 that emphasized the "need to hold perpetrators, organisers, financiers, and sponsors of this reprehensible act accountable and bring them to justice."

According to Parvathaneni Harish, pakistan provides terrorists with financial and training support in addition to other forms of support.  He brought up the fact that india killed a number of militants during Operation Sindoor by striking terrorist camps.  Even if it tries to preach to others, Pakistan's genuine goals are demonstrated when it awarded official awards to the terrorists who were slain rather than condemning them.

The time has come, he continued, for all UN members to cease holding back for political considerations and to hold terrorists and their backers accountable for inciting violence and taking the lives of innocent people.

Criticizes Pakistani army for firing on indian border villages
Additionally, he vehemently denounced the Pakistani army for killing and injuring innocent people in May 2025 when it opened fire on border communities in India.

He claimed that after acting in such a manner, Pakistan's speech on international stages was blatantly hypocritical.

The indian representative made it clear in his concluding remarks that, despite Pakistan's constant fabrications, Jammu & kashmir is, was, and will always be a part of India.
