Chief minister M.K. Stalin, who was busy with his official duties, suddenly felt dizzy yesterday and suffered a slight setback in his health. Following this, he was taken to Apollo Hospital, a famous private hospital in Chennai. The doctors who examined the chief minister there confirmed that he had suffered from mild dizziness. They also advised chief minister Stalin to take complete rest for the next 2 days without engaging in any official work. Following this, Deputy chief minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Ministers M. Subramanian, Duraimurugan, and others camped at the hospital and inquired about the Chief Minister's health. Following the doctors' instructions, it has been reported that the chief minister will not engage in any official work for the next 2 days.
Meanwhile, the chief minister was scheduled to attend the book launch of the second part of "Avanum Naanum," written by the Chief Minister's wife, Durga Stalin. However, he did not attend due to ill health. The function, which was held without the chief minister, was attended by Deputy chief minister and his son Udhayanidhi Stalin. Following this, he spoke to reporters and said, "This problem has arisen because chief minister Stalin has been working non-stop for the last 2-3 months.Moreover, the chief minister is scheduled to undergo some important tests today. After completing them, the chief minister will return home in 2 or 3 days," said Udhayanidhi Stalin.
