The sequel that was pushed into limbo after Indian 2 failed to live up to expectations may now have a second shot, and the twist is that the makers apparently don’t have to start from scratch. According to the latest reports from Chennai, a substantial chunk of Indian 3 was already shot alongside Indian 2, leaving only limited patchwork and a mountain of computer graphics work.

This is the biggest reason Indian 3 still has a pulse. A major portion of the film has already been filmed, meaning the makers are not staring at another massive production from zero. What remains is reportedly smaller-scale shooting and extensive VFX work.
