A woman who lost her temper after hearing through friends that investing in Bitcoin would yield the highest returns has lost up to crores of rupees. According to City Cybercrimes ACP KVM Prasad, a woman from jubilee hills has a friendship with some women who trade online. Investing in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, etc. will bring more profits in less time. 


She did a google search on her own and bought Bitcoins for a total of Rs 90 lakh in several instalments through an app. Investments in the app in the form of US dollars seemed to bring huge returns. 


However, the account of the trader who makes cryptocurrency has been hacked by cybercriminals. The amount in that account is Rs. 2 crores to about Rs. More than Rs 90 lakh was diverted to their respective accounts. Usharani of jubilee hills, who noticed this, on wednesday lodged a complaint with City Cyber Crime ACP KVM Prasad. Usharani, who belongs to the IT sector, has been trading cryptocurrency for some years. She also has an account in a cryptocurrency account. 



Usharani's account was recently hacked by cybercriminals. The currency under USD (1.22 lakhs) is about Rs. 92 lakhs were converted under our national currency and transferred to various accounts. The woman who found out about the incident approached the cybercrime police. ACP KVM prasad said the case is being registered and investigated to this extent.
