26 lakh fraud of senior using fake screenshot

It has been revealed that a senior citizen has cheated of Rs 26 lakh by sending fake screenshots of sending US dollars to a bank account while chatting on whatsapp in the name of his brother who has settled in the US for work.


In this case, prashant Yashwant Deshmukh (68) has lodged a complaint at Sahakarnagar police station against an unknown mobile holder. According to police, Prakash Deshmukh, brother of plaintiff prashant Deshmukh, lives in the US. Using Prakash's facebook photos, the accused posted them on his whatsapp profile and chatted with plaintiff prashant Deshmukh from that number.

The accused pretended that his brother was chatting with the accused. He also earned the trust of prashant Deshmukh by sending fake screenshots of US dollars being sent to his bank account. He then defrauded the complainant of Rs 26 lakh by asking him to send the money to different bank accounts. Senior police Inspector is investigating the case. these types of fraud are nowadays has been increased like money fraud, account transaction fraud, etc…

The government has taken many steps to stop these frauds but this still happens all over the world.
