Another minor student, who was sexually harassed in college, has committed suicide. The incident took place in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Here, before committing suicide, a 17-year-old student messaged her family members about the incident of sexual harassment that happened to her and wrote in an emotional message - Please forgive me, sister, I have to go. After this, she committed suicide by jumping from the building.

A 17-year-old student was studying at a polytechnic college in Visakhapatnam. Her family members said that before committing suicide, she had sent long messages to her family telling them that she had been sexually harassed in college. The girl who committed suicide was originally from anakapalle district of Andhra Pradesh. Her family members said that they had received a call from her college around 10 pm on Thursday. 


In this, the officials there told them that she has gone somewhere. After this, the family members became worried and started calling the student continuously but the phone was not picked up. Then the family informed the police. Family members said that in the messages received at around noon on friday (March 29), she had also written that she could not say anything about this to the college administration or the police because those who did this to her had threatened her with dire consequences. 


 The deceased said that her molesters had also taken objectionable photographs of her and had also threatened that if she told anyone about this, they would post her photographs on social media. Later, the student's body was recovered in a blood-soaked condition just below the college building. When taken to the hospital, the doctors declared her dead. 


Police have started investigating the incident, CCTV footage is being watched and college management officials are also being interrogated. The call records of the girl are being scrutinized so that the accused can be arrested.
