Despite all obstacles, she eventually married dilip Kumar. saira banu revealed in a chat that she first fell in love with dilip kumar when she was 12 years old. In 1960, she attended the premiere of dilip Kumar's 'Mughal-e-Azam,' hoping to catch a glance of her beloved hero in person. She had to depart sad, however, because he was unable to attend the premiere.

 

When dilip kumar & saira banu married in the year 1966, she aged 22 and he was 44 years old.
