In hyderabad, the first site where Ganesh celebrations are held is Khairatabad Vinayak. Khairatabad Gananath is unusual in that no matter how many idols are put around Bhagyanagar, Khairatabad Gananath remains distinct. Every year, in some form or another, a statue is constructed here. The height is also one-of-a-kind. Each year, one foot is gained and one foot is lost. As a result, visitors to Ganesh come from all across the state, not just from Bhagyanagar and Khairatabad. For this massive enumerator, the organisers also build a massive laddu on the same level. Every year, thousands of devotees vie for a laddu of this calibre.

For the last 12 years, Khairatabad has been delivering laddu from Tapeshwar in the east godavari district to Ganpati. This year, though, the custom shall not be broken. The massive Lambodaru laddu has been manufactured locally since this year.
Residents of hyderabad produced 2000kg of laddu this year. This year, Srikanth, the proprietor of Electrical and air Coolers, provided Vinayaka Swamy with 1100 kg of laddu for the vertical. Swami will present Bhaktanjaneya Sweet with 900 kilos of laddu.
In special trucks, the maha prasad Laddu prepared to be delivered to the Swami is transported to Khairatabad. It will be put in a specific area in front of the Swami and handed to him when it has been brought.

Since 2010, Mallibabu, the owner of Tapeshwar's "Suruchi Foods," has been sending a massive laddu to Ganpati in Khairatabad. This laddu has been included in the Guinness Book of World Records on several occasions. Mallibabu used to eat a part of the laddu provided by Ganapati as prasad after the immersion. The organisers gave the remaining laddu as offerings to the worshippers.
