Pornhub, a popular X-rated website, has reported that during the hours that Facebook's servers were down, traffic increased by as much as 10.5 per cent, equating to nearly half a million additional visitors each hour.

Since the website published this information, twitter has witnessed a slew of amusing tweets. Many people came to check on the outage for the second time.


The indian government has banned all porn websites. The Department of Telecom (DoT) has already ordered the websites to be blocked by Internet service Providers. Nonetheless, it is rated third in the world. It is mostly due to the usage of VPN or proxy servers, which the government intends to outlaw. Porn, on the other hand, sells itself, although Pornhub, one of the most popular websites on the internet, has long been known for its ingenious marketing gimmicks. It was one of the first pornographic sites to provide virtual reality experiences, and it just released audio tours that allow users to examine sexual art in real-life museums. Pornhub utilised artificial intelligence to colourize old black-and-white erotica back in May.
