IRCTC: good news for employees!
There is good news for central employees. Now they will get free travel in tejas trains. They will get this exemption on their official tours. Tejas- Rajdhani Express is a semi high speed train. It has upgraded coaches.
Who gave the information?
The Ministry of Finance has given this information by issuing a notice.The department has considering an official tour in tejas trains, according to the announcement. After this, the central government decided to allow the employees to travel in tejas trains. This will be applicable to visits/training/transfer/retirement trips. The same will be eligible to travel in tejas Express trains as mentioned in the circular which was officially sent.
On whom does the qualification depend?
The notice states that the eligibility for train travel will depend on the salary of the employee and it allows government officials to travel in premium trains.
Tejas is also a premium train
The ministry has issued a notice to include tejas trains in the list of premium trains. Due to which now the employees of the center will be able to officially travel free of cost in it. Apart from this, employees are also allowed to travel in premium trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto.
