According to the survey, males aged 10 years lag substantially behind girls in terms of reading ability, based on data from 57 nations.


At the secondary level, adolescent guys fall behind girls. Girls are more prone to skip school, although in many nations, boys are more likely to skip upper levels and fail to complete their education. Currently, 13 crore 20 lakh boys do not attend school.
