Covid nasal vaccine has been approved!!!


There is a wave of concern in india due to the rapidly increasing cases of Covid-19 in China, japan and America. Here also the fear of increasing new cases has arisen. Due to this, the central government has once again appealed to the people to take the booster dose of the Covid Vaccine immediately. Meanwhile, good news has come to the fore. The use of the covid nasal vaccine in the country has been approved. Union health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya told in the rajya sabha that the expert committee has approved the use of this vaccine.

Serum Institute sought permission for a booster dose of Covax

Serum Institute of india has also sought permission from DCGI to use its vaccine Covovax instead of a booster dose. If this permission is granted, the number of vaccines given as booster doses will increase. Serum Institute has sought permission to use this vaccine as a booster dose for people 18 years or older. The speciality of the Covax vaccine is that it can be used as a booster dose in place of both the Covishield Vaccine and Covaxin i.e. if someone has applied the first two doses of Covishield or Covaxin, then it can be used as a booster dose. But a dose of Covax can be given.

IMA issued Covid advisory

The indian Medical Association has also issued a Covid Advisory for all its state and local branches. In the advisory, everyone has been advised to make preparations to deal with the situation of the Corona Outbreak in their respective areas. Apart from this, the central government has also been appealed to take appropriate steps keeping in mind the situation of chaos in the year 2021. The IMA has advised the government to prepare the stock of essential medicines, ambulances, oxygen supplies and equipment from now itself. Along with this, the general public has also been appealed to strictly follow the Covid protocol.
