Recently, social media platforms have been buzzing with reports that Generation Z is ageing like milk. Let us break down the milk metaphor. Ageing like wine? Cool. Ageing like milk? Not very much. Remember how milk turns sour but wine aged better? Do you understand where we're heading with this? This allegation is not only made by cruel millennials, boomers, or Gen X; Gen Z members are pointing out that they appear far more mature for their age on social media.
The social media chatter
This entire topic started and went viral on social media when jordan Howlett, an instagram influencer with over 7 million followers and a GenZer, posted his own tale.

Jordan, a man with a long beard, thick spectacles, and grey hair, said in a now-viral video that when he's out with his mother in public, some people mistake him for her elder brother.

He also stated that when he says he's going to spend time with his family, people believe he's referring about his children (he doesn't have any), rather than his parents.

In the same video, Howlett also recounted an account about meeting Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and asking for his autograph.

When he stated his name, Johnson assumed he was referring to his kid. He stated that the actor wrote, "Your dad [Howlett] is a great guy; he stood out here for hours."
"Dude, Dwayne is 52, I am 26, what?" he blurted out.
The video not only went viral, with over 42 million views, but it also sparked debate over Gen Z ageing quicker than others (btw, no one in the comments, including Dwayne, believed he was 26).
