His film Theri hit the screens in a grand manner on Tamil New Year day on April 14. Even though benefit shows are not allowed in Tamil Nadu and in some areas screeing was not done the film created sensation by collecting a gross of Rs 100crs despite the divide talk.
It is comingout that the film's son Selfie Pulla featuring Vijay and Samantha is becoming a chartbuster in Romania and Europe after a Romanian channel aired the song in its program.
This came as pleasant surprise for the filmmakers. However the reason why the song became popular came as a shock. While Pulla in Tamil means Pilla in Telugu, it means male private part in Romanian language. The song means ‘Let’s take a ***** selfie!’
