Duplicate photos

Herd testified that Depp's injuries to his body, sometimes including swelling and bruising to the nose. During the first cross-examination in mid-May, Depp lawyer Camille Vasquez introduced some photos in court. They said the photos were taken 24 hours after Depp hit his ex-wife.

Herd did not appear to have bruises or bruises on those photos introduced during the trial. However, Herd explained that he had massaged the wounds with an ice pack and covered his face with makeup. That same week Herd also presented some photos to the jury. Among them her face seemed to be flushed red. These photos were introduced by her in 2016 before she filed for divorce. However, Camille said Herd changed one of them, showing two different copies of the same photo.

Let her drown before we shoot

Depp answered questions about exchanging messages with british actor Paul Bettani in late April. In 2013, the two exchanged messages. By then Depp was not married to Herd. 

"Let her drown before we shoot her," Depp wrote in the message.

Another message was shared to make sense of "to make sure she's dead".

When asked about these messages ... he said it was related to a funny scene in the movie Monty Python where witches are burned and drowned. He said that we all saw this movie when we were 10 years old. Depp explained that he did so as part of an attempt to cultivate some sense of humor, and that he was embarrassed by these messages.

Depp did not attack me

Depp and Moss were in a relationship from 1994 to 1998. Moss testified via video call in this case .... '' Depp, I was never pushed. "Once I came down the stairs, they came to help me." 

The evidence given by Moss is in stark contrast to what Herd says. "I once heard the news that Moss was being pushed down the stairs by Depp," Herd told the court. '' I came out of the room and slipped on the stairs. I have a bruise on my back. Then I cried out loud. I do not understand why. But the pain was gone. He came running to help me. I was taken to my room. Medical help was provided, "said Moss.
