During the amarnath yatra, the officers posted there told that everything was normal and suddenly due to the sudden cloudburst, the debris of two big mountains along with the water came very fast, and many passengers got caught in it. At present, the army is engaged in the rescue operation and instructions have been given to the concerned officials for medicines and other essential things in pahalgam and Baltal.
