Adonis Creed has finally made the decision to retire from boxing after dominating the sport for so long in order to focus on his family and coaching the next generation of boxers. Creed's peace of mind in retirement is disturbed when Damian Anderson (Majors), a childhood buddy and former prodigy, reappears after serving a lengthy jail sentence. In an effort to show his former friend that he deserves a chance in the ring, Dame invents problems for him in order to demonstrate his superior skill and the fact that he has nothing to lose.

Michael B. jordan makes a strong entry with Creed III as far as directing debuts go. It wasn't simple to expand on a popular rocky offshoot series, but jordan succeeds in doing so despite the script's constraints. The anime elements that are peppered throughout the film may be of assistance to viewers. The boxing scenes are excellent because jordan uses purposeful close-ups and wonderfully timed slow motion to depict the passion of the battles. It would have been simple for the inexperienced director to fall back on what has already been done, yet the inventiveness with which he shot this movie ultimately pays off.

Given the excellent directing the movie features, it's difficult to see how Creed III could not be a complete hit. The story has, however, been told in this genre so many times that it's difficult to avoid predicting how everything will turn out. In this case, it neatly fits the former friends-to-enemies narrative that almost every genre has explored. The protagonist is faced with the customary previous burden that he must overcome. Again, fortunately for the audience, jordan challenges these worn-out clichés through his creative directing, which he also manages to firmly establish inside an emotionally gripping framework.

Creed III is a worthwhile addition to the lengthy rocky franchise/spinoff series and marks Jordan's assured and convincing acting debut. Even though the storyline hardly does him justice, Majors gives a great performance in the movie. Yet, the actors work around the tired plot to deliver engaging and compelling performances that are sure to draw in viewers. Although having a similar running time to the first two movies in the series, Creed III moves quickly because to director Neil Jordan's inventiveness and the actors, who give it their all to make it all work.
