After tying the knot, both of them held a wedding reception in Delhi. It was attended by many others including congress leader rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, TMC leader Derek O'Brien and actress Jaya Bachchan. A Walima ceremony was also held in the city, where Swara wore a bridal lehenga by a Pakistani designer.
