Janhvi Kapoor, who has recently been making spectacular red carpet entrances, has recently come under fire for a fairly humorous remark she made while making an appearance on Backbenchers, a show hosted by Farah Khan.

A clip from Farah Khan's show, in which Janhvi appeared alongside varun sharma during the marketing of Roohi, has gone viral. In the video, Farah is heard posing some intriguing general knowledge queries to Jhanvi and Varun. Farah asked, "Kaunsa pakshi apni gardan ko 270 degree tak ghuma sakta hai?" in Hindi. Which bird's head can turn a full 270 degrees? varun sharma replied "owl," but Jhanvi said "giraffe," which baffled Farah.

Many others mocked the actress in the comments section. "They are rich doesn't mean they are smart," read one response, "I feel she does not know the meaning of pakshi that's why she got confused and said giraffe." Many even likened her to alia bhatt, who in 2013 made her debut on Koffee with karan and received vicious trolls for referring to prithviraj Chauhan as the country's president rather than Dr. Pranab Mukherjee. The backlash was immediate, with many making fun of and harassing her for her ignorance.
