Ulaganayagam kamal haasan is currently filming Shankar's "Indian 2." Within a few months, the epic opus's whole filming will be finished. After indian 2 is finished, Kamal is prepared to begin his next major film with great director Mani Ratnam.

Lyca Productions made the official announcement of kamal haasan and Mani Ratnam's reunion last year. After over 36 years apart, the team behind the cult movie "Nayakan" is reuniting for a project. An earlier rumour claimed that Nayanthara is in negotiations for the female lead, and that trisha is likely to take up the role.

Reputable sources have since established that those actresses were ineligible to appear in "KH234." According to the most recent rumours, kamal haasan and Mani Ratnam's big-budget film will have music from Isai Puyal AR rahman and vidya balan as the main heroine. We must, however, wait for a formal confirmation of the female lead.

At the box office, Ponniyan Selvan Part 1 was a complete riot. The 2022 film was a worldwide hit and brought in over 500 crores of rupees. Ponniyan Selvan Part 2 will soon make its theatrical debut, directed by Mani Ratnam. Everyone's expectations for the sequel have now been set too high, therefore the question of whether it will be able to deliver on its promises arises.
