SS Rajamouli's magnum opus film, Baahubali was telecast on TV for the first time last week. The movie was watched people all over the Telugu States along with their families as the movie registered 21.84 TRPs. This is the highest TRP registered by any TV program telecast last week. In fact the movie has got third highest TRPs ever in the history of Telugu films.
This is the biggest TRP registered by any Telugu film in the last 5 years. Only Nagarjuna's Sri Ramadasu with 24 TRPs and Ram Charan's Magadheera with 22 TRPs are at the top. Sri Ramadasu was screened on Sri Ramanavami that year worked in the movie favour. Baahubali had grossed close to 600 Crore and its one of the India's biggest blockbuster ever.
Currently the movie is being screened at several international film festivals and is also gearing up for release in China, Japan and other Asian countries. On the other side, the preproduction works of Baahubali-2 are currently on. The regular shoot will begin in December and the movie will hit the screens towards the end of next year.
