Vijay's 'Mersal' which released two weeks back as a Diwali treat has faced more controversies than ever. Right from day one, the movie had controversies, and each controversy was used as a promotion for the movie.
In this case, the Telugu version of the movie 'Adirindhi' was expected to get a release for a long time. But every now and then, the movie faced a barricade and the release was getting delayed. The movie has hit another roadblock and now the distributors have confirmed the release is stopped temporarily.
In fact, a leading distributor confessed that they are clueless about releasing the movie. At one stage, the distributors were hopeful that the controversies could make the movie run for a while. But now, the controversies itself turned out to be a worry for the distributors.
Most of the distributors have expressed their unhappiness over the movie as the movie dropped and fell flat after the controversies, 200 Crores cooked up story. The exact release date of the Telugu version is not known to anyone as of now!
