National award-winning actor dhanush had a mixed year, as his collaboration with his Aadukalam maker vetrimaran with Vada chennai was a hit while his next, the sequel Maari 2 has been met with an average response.
The actor had last year debuted as a director with raj Kiran, Revathy starrer Pa Pandi which was feel-good hit, following which this year he had launched his next Directorial a Multi-starrer bankrolled by Thenandal Studios. The buxom beauty anu emmanuel had been having a successful run in all the industries she had been a part of, as she scored a hit with Action hero Biju in malayalam, Majnu, and Kittu Unnadu Jagratha in telugu and Thupparivalan in tamil until calamity struck in 2017.
This movie was supposed to star nagarjuna, aditi rao hydari, SJ Suryah, Sarathkumar, Srikkanth, and anu emmanuel and the latest buzz is that the production house has backed out of the project due to extreme budget and that the project is being shelved. It seems Anu Emmanuel's bad luck of shelving projects continue once again. An official confirmation is awaited in this regard.
