Thala ajith began the year with a bang with the Siva directorial Viswasam released during the pongal festival and later followed it up with the H Vinoth directorial remake of pink Ner Konda Paarvai released on august 8 and both the movies turned out to be massive hits.
Following the blockbuster success of the movies, Thala ajith is set to begin his 60th movie again helmed by H Vinoth and bankrolled by boney kapoor and it has been said that shoot begins in November. Thala ajith will be back in a young and black hair look with speculation that the movie will be named Valimai.
The latest buzz is that Thala Ajith's 61st movie might be helmed by AR murugadoss, who had recently was seen in darbar starring Superstar Rajnikanth, and that this movie will be bankrolled by Udhayanidhi Stalin. While an official confirmation is awaited, it must be noted that murugadoss started his career with Thala ajith starrer Dheena. AR murugadoss is currently on a low key as all of his recent releases are failing so bad at the Box-Office. The recent to join the list is 'Darbar'.
