Superstar Rajnikanth had last appeared in the action thriller petta directed by karthik Subbaraj and recently tasted another flop with his 167th movie darbar helmed by AR Murugadoss. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, darbar co-stars Lady Superstar Nayanthara, the movie got released on pongal 2020.
Following darbar, Rajnikanth will be working with Siva, as he was mighty impressed with Viswasam starring Thala ajith who had months back invited Siva to his home and praised him for making the emotional entertainer and recently the movie was announced officially.
Bankrolled by sun Pictures, this movie might have either manju warrier or jyothika and Keerthy suresh as his sister, and the latest buzz is that poor jokes specialist, comedian soori will be a part of Thalaivar 168 and an official confirmation already came in this regard. sun pictures have earlier bankrolled two big movies which turned successful namely Enthiran and petta starring Superstar Rajnikanth and it was after watching the last directorial of Siva, the rural mass blockbuster Viswasam starring Thala ajith that Rajni chose to work with Siva. As per reports, the team is shooting the movie fast and already they have completed 60% of the shooting.
