Ace director Maniratnam began canning his dream project ponniyin selvan which is based on the cult classic novel of the same name penned by kalki Krishnamoorthy, a few months back in thailand and the movie is bankrolled jointly by lyca productions and madras Talkies. The shooting is now paused due to the Corona pandemic situation.
Recently, the team had unveiled the title font of ponniyin selvan and mallu babe aishwarya Lekshmi who will play the character Poonguzhali shared "The entire Universe has conspired for this movie! Cannot wait to see the epic #PonniyinSelvan and cannot believe I am part of this dream team #manisirmagic".
On instagram, aishwarya Lekshmi's buddy, Aruvi fame Aditi Balan posted the title look on instagram story captioned it "My lover @aishu__ killing it, starting this decade with a bang. too excited for you : )".Aishwarya Lekshmi had later thanked Aditi Balan.
