A lot of hype is being spread over the arrival of the film Rebel and many are giving positive highlights such as the presence of Prabhas and Tamanna, the talent of Lawrence as a mass director and the high production values. But there are few facts which deduce that it is very difficult for the film to reach the success point.
The first setback for the film is its budget. It has crossed Rs 40 crores and though Prabhas has got a strong pull, it is difficult for him to pull the crowds to get into profit zone. Sources say the film is releasing on deficit. The other setback is the weak response to the songs. Not one number has struck a chord.
One more challenge for the film especially in Hyderabad and Telangana region is the Nimajjanam arriving on September 29th followed by Million March on September 30th. The only way this film can be safe is, if it gets a blockbuster talk and above average ratings by the critics. And only a miracle can deliver such things.
