In Mani Ratnam's upcoming magnum opus historical action drama ponniyin selvan, South beauty trisha krishnan plays the Chola Princess Kundhavai. She has arrived on site and has begun filming her part. Ponniyin Selvan's producers are reportedly filming a few puja sequences with trisha Krishnan. ravi -Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jayam ravi plays the titular character, while trisha plays the role of his sister. 


Ironically, ravi and trisha have already romanced in 'Boologam' and 'Unakum Enakum' movies earlier. In the role of Vandhiyathevan, karthi will make his cinematic debut and he'll be matched with Trisha. Aditya Karikalan and Nandini are played by vikram and aishwarya Rai, respectively and their portions are also being canned. lyca productions and madras Talkies are producing the big-budget film, with ravi Varman handling cinematography and rahman composing the music. 


Ponniyin Selvan is based on kalki Krishnamoorthy's novel of the same name, and mani ratnam plans to release the first part of this historical epic fantasy drama in the summer of 2022. trisha, on the other hand, just signed the kannada film Dvitva, which she would star in alongside Puneeth Rajkumar and this is just her second kannada film in her 18 years of cinema career.
