The release date of 'Tughlaq Darbar' has been officially announced on sun tv as the vijay sethupathi starrer 'Tuglak Darbar' directed by debutant director Delhi prasad Deenadayalan featuring stars Sathyaraj, Parthiban, Rashi Kanna, Manjima Mohan, Karunakaran, Bux Perumal, raj and many more and produced by Lalith Kumar will be premiering first on television and not on OTT.


All work on the film was completed and ready for release, but negotiations were held to release it directly on the OTT platform as the theaters were not open. But the problem arose because the tv rights belonged to sun tv and the film crew was in talks about this. The film 'Tughlaq Darbar' has agreed to be released on OTT after a live broadcast on sun TV. But again, this was followed by the question of when to broadcast on sun TV? and now the answer is out!


The movie will be premiering on the 10th of september as Vinayagar Chaturthi special and this is the first time a vijay sethupathi movie is making its premiere directly on Television. The movie will release on Netflix platform after making its premiere directly on television and the OTT premiere will happen only the next day as per sources.
