With her portrait for photographer Dabboo Ratnani's 2021 calendar, which looked to depict her standing topless on a beach, actress kiara advani ruffled some feathers and kiara had gotten similar notice the year before when she appeared to be topless in front of a big leaf for Dabboo's 2020 calendar as well.


However, the photographer said in a new interview that he shot kiara intentionally and avoided crossing the line into profanity and he assured that, kiara isn't topless in the latest shot, according to Dabboo Ratnani. “Yes, I have read what's being stated online,” he told a major newspaper. But in my recent black-and-white photograph of kiara, she is not topless.”
 

"I tend to photograph in a certain way that leaves a bit to be desired," he continued. Too much sexuality in your face, in my opinion, becomes vulgar and it's preferable to leave some suspense in the minds.” When photojournalist Marie Barsch pointed out the parallels between their images on Instagram, Dabboo was accused of copying for his shot of kiara last year and he reacted by claiming that the photo was based on one he created in 1992, implying that he had copied himself.
